During General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. One speaker spoke on forgiveness and a thought came to mind.
When we pass on; forgiveness will be instant because we will live by a higher law. Our eternal existence will not have the sting of life as we know it now.
We will be joyous in the fact that we had progressed into the celestial realms and all else will be insignificant. That is not to say that we slack off of working on trying to forgive now. But if there is any residual disharmony, it will be taken away through the grace of our Lord and Savior.
Our progression cannot be made whole if we try to enter the Lords’ presence while we carry past grievances.
